AHOY, friends!! We found a fun new way to do NAUTICAL! We used the straight strips that come in this french manicure kit to make our stripes! Might be one of the easiest nail art manicures ever! Painting stripes can be a big challenge, but this is pretty simple…
Paint the base navy blue. We used American Apparel’s “Passport Blue” polish $6
Next, apply the white strips from the Sally Hansen’s French Manicure Kit $6.50
Using small scissors or cuticle nippers, clip the strips as close to the edge of your nail as possible.
Use a thin paint brush to create hearts on the nail wherever you want.
This look is inspired by Goyte music video “Somebody that I used to know’. In the beginning of the video, the singer is “clean” and open to relationship. Soon his body begins to match ever-evolving the background, pulling him into its complicated and broken design. The relationship is getting intricate as them both change in it and develop different sides. This thorny mosaic highlights the pain of this union. They both stuck into it. When the woman’s color comes off, she disassociates herself from their ending relationship./div>
